Fes – Midelt – Merzouga

Our journey starts from your hotel in Fes to Ifrane, ski center in Morocco. We will stop near to the cedar forest in the middle of the Atlas Mountains to see monkeys in the wild. We continue our journey towards Azrou (Berber village in the largest cedar forest in Morocco). Then we visit the town of Midelt, which is famous by for its minerals and apples culture. We will travel along the Ziz valley, and then we will visit Erfoud known by its fossil products. In Rissani; we will visit the local market and taste a Berber food. Later, we will reach the desert of Merzouga and spend the night in a local hotel near to ethe dunes.

Day 2: 4wd tour in the Merzouga desert and camel ride

The second day of our tour Fes-Merzouga is devoted to explore the Sahara Desert in 4wd. After breakfast, we will tour around the dunes and we will visit the village of Khamlia, also, we will discover and experience Moroccan traditional dance and the Gnawa music. Later, we will visit Berber nomads in the desert and spend little time with them. Then we are going to ride camels in the desert and spend the night in a desert camp in tents. We will have dinner and listen to Berber music around a campfire. Besides enjoying the starry sky and the calm atmosphere of the Sahara.

Day 3: Erg Chebbi desert Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Ifrane – Fes

In the morning, we will enjoy the sunrise above the Sahara Desert from the high dunes. Then we will be taken back to our hotel riding camels for having breakfast and shower. We continue to Rissani, Erfoud, Errachidia and Midelt, where we stop for lunch. Later, we head to Ifrane. Our 3-day tour from Fes to the Desert ends in Fes. We drop you off at your hotel or airport.
